University of Texas - Longhorns

The University of Texas at Austin, often simply referred to as UT Austin or Texas, is a public research university located in Austin, Texas, United States. The university was founded in 1883 and is the flagship institution of the University of Texas System.

The athletic teams of the University of Texas are known as the Texas Longhorns. The Longhorns participate in the NCAA Division I and are members of the Big 12 Conference. The school's mascot is a Texas Longhorn steer named Bevo, and the team colors are burnt orange and white.
